* Stayman- looking for a 4-card major

 Your choice:
A: J. When responder goes to 3 No Trump responder promises a 4-card spade suit denying a fit in the heart suit. Your partner did not double 2 for a lead ( the double of an artificial suit asks for that lead showing a 5-card suit with two of the top 4 honors) A diamond lead stands out a mile!

* Reverse - jumping over the 1st suit shows a strong hand 17 or more HCP. This is forcing for 1 round and guarantees that the first suit is longer than the second suit. Responder denied any 4-card suit and promises 4 clubs.
** Guarantees 6 clubs and 5 spades.

 Your choice:
A: K. Declarer shows 11 cards in the two bid suits . While you control the heart suit lead the top of a sequence first . Should you lead the Ace and the K is in dummy declarer may get a discard for the diamond loser.

* Stayman- looking for a 4-card major.

 Your choice:
A: 4. When declarer denies a major you have two choices of which major suit to lead? When you have a longer major, partner is usually short in that major. From experience , leading the shorter major will often work better when partner is rated to have hearts . You will be amazed at this theory. It has worked for me every time!
