*1NT - 18-19 HCP

 Your choice:
A: Q. Partner is forced to bid a suit after a "Take-out " double when the responder to opener passes, partner ( the advancer) does not promise anything, showing 0-8 HCP.
Leading from a 3-card sequence will not give away a trick. After all, partner does not promise any honor in the heart suit.

*XX - 10 or more HCP, denies a Diamond fit

 Your choice:
A: 3. Adding up your hand, dummy's hand and opener's hand, partner has almost zero HCP. When the advancer bids after a redouble, all it shows is a marked preference for a suit and length. This does not promise any points. We need to lead passively and wait for declarer to play to you.

*1 - forcing showing at least 6 HCP, and may be a 4 or 5 card suit.

 Your choice:
A: A. Although partner made a free bid, partner shows one of two kinds of hands.
1. A weak hand and length
2. An honor in the club suit, wanting the lead of the suit. Leading a low card would show an honor in that suit.

The Ace of Spades is a better lead, you will play a Club at trick two.

*2 - 9-11 HCP, not forcing, invitational, and may have only a 4-card suit.

 Your choice:
A: K. Partner, the advancer, does not promise the K. Do not blindly lead the Ace. Declarer may have the King of hearts. Lead from a 2-card sequence. Although partner jumped in the suit, does not demand to lead that suit.
