Respond Doubles "What's on YOUR Bucket List?" by Marti Ronemus

102-year-old Carol Aimsworth has survived 18 presidential elections and seen events over more than a century. She only had one item left on her bucket list: to be arrested and ride in the back of a police cruiser. No swimming with the dolphins for THIS babe!

The St. Louis Police Department and the Five Star Senior Center teamed up to make her dream come true. The experience was a hit. The excited Carol, at one point, asked "Do you think you could put those cuffs on me?"

As one who has worked hard to avoid arrest, I'm not sure I get it, but hey, you go, girl!!

And today we will try to stay on the right side of the law by responding to Pard's double of a Preempt. Some ideas? Keep in mind Pard has a solid opener... after all, he's forcing us to bid pretty high. He also has the right distribution. Our bid should be as high as we can go opposite an opener.
