Therefore a Diamond lead will work better than a Heart.

A: A♥ - A lead from Ace-King is better than a singleton lead. Do you know why?

If you lead the Ace, after seeing the dummy you will still be able to play your singleton, but if you lead your singleton right away, you can't change your mind if it turns out that you needed to cash the Ace-King.
