Responding with a fit isn't as easy as one might think. We have responsibilities! Should we raise Pard? Should we show another suit? How high should we bid? Exhausting!

Let's remember our Wonderbra rule. With a minimum hand, we are going to support with support. Most of the time. With a bigger hand? Things get a little tricky. Let's try some and see what happens.

A: 1 No-trump: We cannot really support Pard's Hearts with only two. We are going to bid 1 No-trump. What, you say? But we have 10 pts! Yeah, but this hand has nothing to recommend it. The shoe doesn't really fit. We don't have any nice Honorettes (9s and 10s), our honors are scattered all over the hand. There's no real source of tricks. We downgrade to a minimum response. We limit our hand, too. Now it's Pard's problem.
